SLHW: A Fun-Filled Viking Story Workshop

    Public reading
  • When
    10 March 10:45 - 12:45
  • By Odin’s Trousers! Prepare yourself for the wrath of the Norsemen! That is, if you don’t mind and it’s not too inconvenient.

Anarchic fun as David Macphail reads from his book series, Thorfinn the Nicest Viking, an ale-splashing, meat-ripping, hatchet-in-the-head kind of saga, in a world where manners cost nothing (literally), and politeness pays (usually with your life). Children will create their own Viking characters, which will then become players in a terrific Aberdonian-themed story.

Children will create their own Viking characters, which will then become players in a unique Aberdonian-themed story written up afterwards by the author and made available to all participants.

David is the author of Yeti On The Loose (2014) and the 6-book series Thorfinn the Nicest Viking. He is currently working on many other books, including humorous stories, historical stories and non-fiction titles.

This event is suitable for children from P3 to P5.
